This year, Dr. Holsey wrote a successfully funded five – year, $250,000, National Institutes of Health Research Conference (R13) grant proposal, Equipping the Next Generation of Internal Medicine Physicians for Success. The grant was funded at the maximum level to support the NMA 2021 Virtual Convention & Scientific Assembly, and 2022-2026 Annual Convention & Scientific Assemblies. In addition to writing the grant, her role is Co-PI and Program Director on this five- year project.
